Our man Hoover was always one to improve himself.

From his earliest puppy days when he chewed up our Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia he had an interest in the written word.

Since he could not grasp a pen or type on a keyboard he used alternate means to get his message through

As you can see he became quite proficient.

He would pester us ten to fifteen times a day to go outside to his classroom so he could dot his eyes and cross his tees.

His proudest day was when at last he was able to sign his name!
