Because of the high cost of living in Southern California LadyLuv and I have been thinking of the possibility of moving to the the High Desert in an area near Las Vegas.
We had read of homes selling dirt cheap compared to the cost of California housing so we took a few leads from the Housing section of the LA Times and headed to the Mojave Desert.
We had visions of sweeping desert views and contempory living in a resonable priced planned community near The Strip.
We had a pleasant visit with a Del Webb planned community salesman but alas and alack we soon found out that we had a lack of the alas needed to become a proud owner of one of these houses so the search continued for our High Desert house. Next
